I've been wondering if they still made that stuff too! Haven't used it since I was about ten years old. Also 'Dipity-Doo' which was mostly for girls curls, but worked in a pinch if you were out of Brylcreem! It was actually very similar to today's hair gels.

@BackInBlack60 : I've never met a French girl who does that(let the hair growing).There are certainly such girls in France, but they don't talk about that .I've noted that in winter, due to the cold ,some of them tend to "forget" shaving their legs, because they know that nobody would see them under the trousers. I know that according to some news,many French gals think that let hairs growing somewhere is not hygienic.
There is also some rumors in France that tell is American girls who are hairy.

@Sterne... used to be many French girls, as well as many black girls in the US, grew hair on purpose, and some guys actually liked it. Did the French gals finally go hairless like everyone seems to be nowadays (women and even many straight men I guess)? I think hairy women are nasty, except for on their head of course.
